The people’s deputy from the People’s Front political party Andrey Levus announced that during a briefing, Ukrinform reports.

“We demand bringing the minister of energy to responsibility, his immediate dismissal, and also dismissal of the administration of Ukrgazvydobuvannya both from the People’s Front and the coalition,” Levus said.

Previously, on December 30, 2014, Ukraine and Russia signed two scandalous contracts between Inter RAO and Ukrinterenergo for electricity deliveries from the power transmission system of Russia to Ukraine and another contract for deliveries of electricity to Crimea.

In the middle of January, the Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk demanded explanations from the minister of energy Vladimir Demchishin regarding wording of the contracts as Crimea was mentioned as a “federal district of the Russian Federation” there. Nowadays the General Prosecutor Office of Ukraine investigates the contracts.
