Kremlin added Majlis to list of extremist organizations

The Russian Ministry of Justice added the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people to the list of organizations, “the activity of which has been suspended as a result of their extremist activities”.

“On April 18, 2016, the public association of the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people was included to the list of public and religious associations, the activity of which has been suspended as a result of their extremist activities,” the statement says.

As “Pod Pritselom” previously reported, on April 13, the “prosecutor” of occupied Crimea Natalya Poklonskaya delivered a decision on suspending the activity of the Majlis of Crimean Tatar people.
