In Simferopol “notifications” to come to the voluntary Saturday work day are delivered door to door with the threat of fines in case of absence. Krym.Realii informs about that referring to information from Facebook users.
“These notifications to join the voluntary Saturday work are delivered door to door with the threat of fines in case of absence, but nobody explains on what basis this fine is. When giving the notification, they mark who received it saying that the second mark will be put during the volunteer clean-up,” the author, who published the notification’s photo in the network, said.
According to the Crimeans, people who deliver the “notifications” don’t introduce themselves and show no identity cards, so it is problematic to identify their affiliation to some kind of organization.
“They were delivered to every apartment. He was a young man in a sports uniform. He marked that we took the notification and wrote down the apartment number. Maybe, there will be the roll call during the voluntary Saturday work and they will mark who came,” a woman from Simferopol said.
The tenants are required not only to participate personally but also the notification contains a list of equipment and materials that they need to bring. There are litter-boxes, planting stocks, pipes, cement, crushed stones, shovels and tires “in unlimited quantities” among other things.
As a reminder, the “head” of Feodosia administration has decided to introduce the practice of “Clean Thursdays”.
