Queue of trucks stretched for 4 km at the motor vehicle crossing point “Armyansk” at the administrative boarder between Crimea and mainland Ukraine. The “Minister” of Industrial Policy of Crimea Andrei Skrynnik informed about that.
According to the official, the main reason for that is the insufficient number of custom service officers.
“The issue with complete staff recruitment of the custom agencies and other inspection bodies was not solved but I am sure these issues are going to be solved,” he said and added that the main problem resides in increasing the custom officers’ number as it takes over an hour for the custom control of one truck.
According to Skrynnik, the truck traffic flow to Crimea has increased. The “Minister” is sure that commodity circulation is going to only increase in the future.
“I am strongly convinced that the commodity circulation will be stable and will increase,” Skrynnik summed up.
As a reminder, it is planned to build three stationary border-crossing points on the “border” between mainland Ukraine and occupied Crimea by 2017.
