Five Crimean naval checkpoints are not prepared to take cruise ships. The head of the Rosgranstroy FGKU (State-owned Federal State Institution) Aleksey Shestopalov said that at the press conference, Krym Media informs.
“These reasons are objective and related to the depths and provision of the necessary facilities in checkpoints,” Shestopalov said and added that they have been already working on this regard, as Crimea has good prospects in this area.
As a reminder, cruise ships can’t enter the Crimean ports due to the sanctions imposed by the European Union against Crimea in summer of 2014 and renewed until June 23, 2016.
