Austria didn’t let the so called senator of Crimea Olga Kovitidi participate in the meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE. The OSCE PA President Ilkka Kanerva informed the Russian delegation about that, Izvestiya writes.

Kanerva informed the State Duma speaker Sergey Naryshkin that Austria filed a note of protest and won’t let Kovitidi participate in the meeting in Vienna.

The reason for the refusal was the EU sanctions imposed on Kotividi.

As for the “senator” from the illegally occupied Ukrainian territory, she claimed that she was refused to participate because the issues of Ukraine and Crimea would be discussed during the meeting and the “anti-Russian” Crimean Tatar Mustafa Dzhemilev would make a report.
