Crimean agrarians that have been growing and selling varied crops for years note drastic deterioration of market conditions in the peninsula. When the Russian authority came to Crimea, all the stages, starting from cultivation of production and finishing by its sale, have become more complex. Krym.Realii informs about that.
If previously agrarians had steady buyers in mainland Ukraine, then now products cultivated in Crimea has to be brought to Russia. However, in this case difficulties related to unstable work of the ferry line appear.
“Volume of the manufactured production has decreased many times, because there is no distinct, certain buyer and we can not be sure that we will be able to sell our production as it used to be before. We had specific buyers from the Donbass region, but now this process ceased and this is why we try to bail out from big volumes. Prices for seed grains and irrigation increased significantly,” one of the agrarians of North Crimea Amet says in a conversation.
