The government hypes itself on immigrants

2Co-head of the Coordinating Council of internally displaced persons from Crimea Andriy Shchekun considers the resolution of the government that foresees a monthly addressed allowance for IDPs from the temporary occupied territory of Ukraine and antiterrorist operational areas a publicity move.

Commenting on this situation, Andiy Shchekun claimed: “Authorities demonstrates populist’s slogans. No one has seen the resolution itself yet and it’s not even on the official website of the government. It reminds the creation of a State Service concerning the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, city of Sevastopol and temporary displaced persons. The creation of this institution was claimed on July 17 but it was actually created only on August 5 under the pressure of public representatives. It’s already October but the service hasn’t been formed yet. However, representatives of the Cabinet know how to hype themselves. Moreover, how is it possible to claim about it when the law on a status of forced migrants that would regulate relations between internally displaced persons and authorities implying certain control and registration of those individuals and also assuring their social secure allowance? Our dear high officials, maybe, it’s enough of hyping?

On October 1, the press-service of Ministry of Social Policy informed about the adoption of this resolution on the government session. According to the words of a specialized minister Ludmila Denisova, monetary aid is connected with the need to cover expenses of migrants on living especially taking into account a coming winter period.
