The number of political prisoners that will be accused of involvement in terrorist activities by occupation authorities will increase in Crimea in the near future.
The human rights defender Mariya Tokmak said that at a press conference, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“The number of political prisoners will increase in Crimea in the near future. We know about the ban of the Mejlis, which is a time bomb,” the coordinator of the ‘Let My People Go’ company Mariya Tomak said.
According to the human rights defender, the number of criminal cases against the Crimean Tatars and Muslims as a whole, who will be accused of the involvement in a terrorist organization, will be increased due to the ban of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People.
