Tourists still can’t withdraw money from their bank cards in Crimea, RIA Novosti informs.
In particular, Visa and Mastercard cards don’t operate in the peninsula, also there are a lot of difficulties with the system “Pro100”. For example, often credit cards issued by the Moscow bank offices don’t work in Crimea.
Crimean banks say journalists that they don’t have any information.
The “minister” of finances of Crimea Vladimir Levandovskiy said that he didn’t know about withdrawal problems.
As a reminder, international bank systems Visa and Mastercard stopped their operation in the peninsula because of sanctions against Crimea since December 2014. The Russian authorities promised to resume the operation of cards starting from April 2015.
