Upon the initiative of participants of the “protest glade”, illegal buildings have been demolished in Sudak. The official website of the “Council of Ministers” of Crimea reports about that.
Over 200 people participated in demolition of the squatter settlement. “The deputy chairman” of the Council of Ministers of Crimea Ruslan Balbek was present there. According to his words, such actions of the “protest glade” participants indicate the public supportability in the sphere of the landmatters on the peninsula.
“The demolished housing didn’t perform any functions and only reminded about the terrible legacy, when people had to use them as a certain symbol of protest,” Balbek said. The official also announced that the “government” of Crimea takes all the reasonable measures in order to provide all the Crimeans in need with the land parcels for the individual residential building.
As a reminder, Crimean trials awarded 150 judgments on demolition of illegally constructed buildings, which are squatting.
